Nathaniel Dalton, Affiliated Managers Group, Inc.

Nathaniel Dalton is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Affiliated Managers Group, Inc. (AMG), a global asset management company with equity investments in leading boutique investment management firms. Through its Affiliates, AMG manages approximately $617 billion in more than 400 investment products across a broad range of investment styles, asset classes and distribution channels.  Mr. Dalton joined the Company in 1996 as its first General Counsel, holding successive leadership positions within the firm until assuming his current role in 2011.  Before he joined AMG, Mr. Dalton was an attorney at Goodwin Procter LLP in Boston, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, including those in the asset management industry.  During his tenure at Goodwin Procter, he represented AMG since the time of the Company’s formation in 1993. Mr. Dalton is the founder, President and Chairman of the Board of Guard Support of Massachusetts, Inc. and serves as a Trustee of The Benjamin School. He received a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
